Shelbi Jones is a filmmaker and artist who grew up in Dallas, TX, with a passion for storytelling that began in her childhood. From acting out humorous scenarios to convincing friends to help her make funny videos, Shelbi's love for filmmaking was evident early on. 

A pivotal moment in Shelbi's journey occurred when a camera crew arrived at her cheer gym to film the Netflix series Cheer. Witnessing the production process from behind the scenes sparked her fascination with the technical aspects of filmmaking, and she knew then that her future lay in production. Inspired by the energy and creativity of the crew, Shelbi's passion for film deepened, leading her to pursue a degree in Collaborative Arts with a focus on filmmaking and acting at NYU.

At NYU, Shelbi has honed her skills through a variety of experiences, working on and starring in multiple short films. Her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Collaborative Arts requires her to master a range of artistic disciplines, making her a versatile and well-rounded artist. Shelbi thrives on both the creative and technical sides of filmmaking, with a deep love for telling stories that resonate and inspire. She is equipped with the skills to handle high-pressure situations and meet deadlines, ready to bring her unique perspective to future projects and continue her journey in the world of film and production.
